PRO14 Rugby unveiled the 2019/20 seasons fixtures this morning. The competition has been altered this season, with the two Conferences having been redrawn earlier this summer based on last seasons finishing positions. Reigning Champions Leinster start their season with an away trip to face Benetton Treviso on the later than usual starting date of 28th of September. The season will officially get underway in South Africa the previous evening when the Cheetahs host Glasgow in Bloemfontein. Due to the World Cup this year the competition will start and finish later than in previous seasons. The final round of pool games will take place during the last weekend of May and this years’ final will take place in the Cardiff City Stadium on June 20th.
Ulster will be the first of the Irish provinces in action as they play host to the Ospreys in Ravenhill on Friday 27th at 7:35pm. Munster kick-off their season at Thomond Park on Saturday the 28th at 3pm against the Dragons, while later that evening Connacht travel to Wales to face the Scarlets at 5:15pm.
The first Interpro clashes take place in round 6 as Connacht host Leinster at Sportsground on Friday 8th November and Munster host Ulster the following evening at Thomond Park.
